Upcycled storage basket

Upcycled storage basket set woven by May Zun Chit and her family near Pakkoku, Magway Region.

Pieces of pallet banding, usually stapled across crates for shipping, are woven to create lasting baskets. This box has been created using neutral khaki and white colours.

This type of basket bag is a feature of everyday life across Myanmar due to their sturdiness, durability and water resistant properties.

The overall measurements of the bag is 28m long x 24cm wide and 18cm high(excluding handles).
