Suzani marquetry wood photo frame

A few years ago, Silvia Furmanovich expanded her collection of wearable art to include home-design objects such as this photo frame. She collaborates with craftspeople from across the globe, paying special attention to the skills and materials from her native Brazil – for example, her fine marquetry is carried out by an Amazonian tribe, while fallen wood and bark are often retrieved from forest floors.
