Oiva Siirtolapuutarha plate

Siirtolapuutarha is the somewhat cryptic name of the series from which Marimekko s plate comes. The Finnish word means something like "allotment" and describes the colorful mix of associated products.

Just as colorful is the origin of the Marimekko Oiva Siirtolapuutarha plate: The iconic Siirtolapuutarha pattern was created by Maija Louekari, while Sami Ruotsalainen designed the shape of the Oiva designed the shape of the plate.
