Peony buncheong mug (set of 2)

Na Yong-hwan’s interpretation of Buncheong – a traditional form of Korean stoneware – is closely tied to the natural elements, as it’s inspired by the autumnal landscape of his homeland. He utilises the sanggam technique to conjure each dreamlike scene, which is where patterns are created via the layering and scraping of porcelain soil onto celadon.
