Hand-woven reversible silk ikat cushion

To create our beautiful Bekasam Stripe Bright Silk Ikat cushions, we use hand-woven and hand-dyed fabrics known as Ikat materials. In Uzbekistan the Ikat technique is called Abrband, which is an ancient way of creating designs in fabric by resist-dyeing the threads before the fabric is woven. This technique produces a distinctive vibrancy of colour and design.
