Each lamp—or light sculpture—in Yuxuan Huang’s Dreamcatcher series is a vibrant flight of fancy, a collage of found objects and ephemeral inspiration. In this instance, 007 The Mountains Beyond takes creative cues from dusty landscapes with its earth-toned smudges and an eclectic fabrication of paper, bamboo, shellac, pigment, and reclaimed wood from historic buildings in New York and Philadelphia.
