Hand-woven grass place mats by Gone Rural, created from indigenous 'luntindzi grass', sustainably harvested annually from rocky outcrops in the Swazi mountains. They are then woven by 780 skilled female weavers as part of a fairtrade co-operative across 52 communities in eSwatini. These talented artisans use the flexibility of their home-based work to overcome the lack of employment in rural communities and provide a sustainable income for their families.
These placemats are a mix of natural and dyed grasses.

All orders are shipped directly to you by our carefully selected partners and shipping charges are displayed at checkout. Orders are shipped using tracked delivery and may arrive in separate parcels if you've ordered from multiple brands.
At this stage, we only ship to the UK and US.
