In a series of Ondulation furniture, he drew upon the swell and rolling motion of surface ripples, imitating them in recurring wave-like crests and troughs. A solid and continuous band, the Ondulations ring reinterprets wave motions in elegant, carved reeding – a refined statement both worn alone or in a group.
