Collection Narrative: Somewhere between tradition and the destruction of tradition, SS23 Pre investigates the glitches in the systems and dramas that dominate modern British life. White topaz stones are set, offset and reset. Folds of metal, a familiar Completedworks’ motif, are here clashed rather than scrunched. Pearls gobble one another in sculpted arcs – juxtaposing wit with emotional intensity.
