Colour block patchwork quilt

Warming quilt made from soft cotton in India with a rich blocked patchwork inspired by colour field painting. Quilted together by hand, with a plain cotton voile reverse and cotton wadding. The quilting on each patch is stitched in contrasting directions. Intricate stitching shows through to the plain cotton voile reverse. Finished with bound edges.
