Clamp dyed poplin dress

Artisans in India use a clamp dyeing technique to pattern our poplin dress with motifs, inspired by old tiles in wood cabins. The technique consists of the fabric being folded and clamped between wooden blocks before it is dyed, unfolding to reveal a unique pattern that varies slightly from piece to piece. Shaped with gathers at the front and back of the waist and finished with side pockets.
