Eager to find a signature that perfectly represented its androgynous, timeless aesthetic, Saint Laurent looked to the expertise of French artist Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. And so, in 1961, the monogram was born – it’s seen here finished in an earthy, raw texture that adds texture to the eye-catching piece.
